So I realised I haven't written a blog in a while so I'm going to write a blog about a few things. Coming home, the sleepover with Maddy & Nat, my coming home party and Rosebud :D.
First, arriving home. It was the most awesomest feeling. Two of my aunties, my uncle and 4 of my cousins were waiting for us there and as we walked out of the gates we heard big screams. We looked down to see a bunch of hands waving at us. Of course we turned the wrong way but when we walked out from the gate line, my auntie Kim came running. It was a really awesome feeling. Then we walked outside and we didn't have jumpers on. That was awesome. After that we went home and everyone stayed until about 11.30pm. We had heaps of fun.
Next, the sleepover. That was on Saturday. I went to Maddy's at about 1.30pm and her and Nat were sitting on the porch. Seeing them again brought a feeling that I can't describe. We went inside and talked for a while. Then we went down to the park which was heaps of fun. We took many photos and got stuck on some random ladder thing. We had fish and chips for dinner then watched Mythbusters, Life of Brian and made the sounds for a tennis game. At 5am Kitty wanted to come inside and we were all woken up. Unfortunately I was the only one who didn't get back to sleep. Luckily Maddy and Nat were awake at about 7.30 so I didn't have to wait too long. We had chocolate ripple cake for breakfast which was DELICIOUS. I had the most awesomest time on the sleepover.
Next, my coming home party. I arrived at Maddy's at about 4pm on Thursday and we decided, despite the wind, to hang streamers. Once we finished that we went inside to beautify ourselves. I borrowed a dress from Maddy, also some umbrella earrings and thongs. The guests started arriving at 6pm, the first of course being Amala. I had a great night. We ate lots of chips and drank lots of soft drink. We took heaps of photos, including our make believe 'Party Bus'. I loved seeing everyone again and I got awesome prezzies from Steff and Amala. Maddy & Nat gave me a surprise half way through the night. It was a box full of Aussie treats. It was so awesome. Everyone left at around 10.30pm then me & maddy got ready for bed. We watched Umbie Bumbies. We then talked til 3.40am. Twas most excellent. Overall, that night was just plain awesome.
Last but not least, Rosebud. I went to Maddy's at about 9.30am on Australia Day and we were under way by about 10. We visted Maddy's great uncle Phil for about half an hour on the way and we were up at Rosebud by about 1pm. We stayed with Maddy's auntie Liz and she'd made us a roast lamb lunch. Twas delicious. After lunch, Maddy and I talked for a bit until we peeled Leah off the couch so we could go to the beach. We went down to McCrae Beach and we put up our Aussie flag and took some photos. There were also jellyfish EVERYWHERE!! It scared the life out of me. We floated in our donuts for a while then we headed back to Liz's place and had showers then lasagna for dinner. Maddy and I then watched the tennis. We chose a player eacha dn made the noises. Of course I had the dumb American who lost !! But it was still heaps of fun. We then went to bed and in the morning we got ready to go to the beach. We were out the door by about 11am. When we arrived at McCrae we set up camp then Maddy and rested on our towels for a while. After having a good relaxing lie down, we went and sat on our donuts for a while. We only came back to eat and put on suncream. We left at about 3.30pm or so and went back to Liz's for showers. We headed back to Maddy's at about 5pm and had a fish & chip dinner. We also noticed our burns. I got burnt on my back, feet and hands. Apart from the burnings, I had a really awesome two days. <3
So that's it. Today will be hot so I'm planning just to relax. Ok, bye then.

Singapore
Heyy everyone. I'm currently at Singapore Airport, just hanging out by the computer. I thought it would be a good time to write a blog. We have already had the 14 hour flight from Zurich, but realistically it only took about 11.5 hours. :D We had a tiny scare this morning. We were waay over our limit for luggage and so not all of it could be put on the plane. After putting the suitcases that could go on on, we searched around for other options where we could send our luggage from. After finding something that looked ok, Dad decided it was too expensive to we walked for ages to some East building where we could send it for cheaper. By then though, we were running quite late and when the guy at this East building had finished we literally had to run from there back to the airport. We were waay late for walking through but we just made it and they had to hold the plane for us !! Everyone was looking at us as we walked in. So as you can imagine, we all weren't too happy with Dad. Apart from that, the flight was pretty uneventful. I just watched a few things including Breakfast at Tiffanys, Mamma Mia and CSI. I didn't get much sleep and I'm exhausted now. Oh well, only 9 hours until we arrive in Australia. <3>

There's Always a Downside to the Light
Hey everyone. So the countdown has REALLY begun now, only 6 days to go. I had my last lesson with my full class today. Cemi and Julia went out at the break and bought some bread, ice tea and chocolate and they had a really mini goodbye party. It was so nice for them to do that, I'm really happy they thought of it. :D It kind of makes me sad to think I'll probably never see some of them again. I'm catching up with Danii and Nadine on Saturday, and Cemi on Tuesday, but everyone else, today was probably the last time I'll see them. Well, except for the people in my cooking class which I have tomorrow. Even though I've been waiting forever to get out of here, now that I'm actually doing it, it's quite sad. Here's a list of things I'm going to miss.
1. My friends. Cemi, Nadine, Danii, Jana, Steffi, Julia, Claudia, Manuela, Simone, Angi and Albana.
2. My family. The one's in Germany. They're so awesome, I'm going to miss them like hell.
3. The green. Everything here is so beautifully green, I'm going to miss that.
4. The snow. It may be cold, but it looks beautiful and it's something we don't really get in Australia.
5. The chocolate. It's yummy yummy yummy in my tummy tummy tummy.
6. The casual dress. Not having to wear a uniform was really cool this year. So different.
7. The distance to school. It's so short, especially compared to Pascoe Vale. It only takes me 10 mins to walk.
8. The cool windows. They open really cool, I'm going to miss the easy-ness of that.
9. Hearing the nature. It's funny, you'll be sitting in class, then you look outside and there are a couple of sheep grazing.
10. Getting mail. It's nice coming home from school and having a letter waiting for you.
Yeah, there are probably others but meh. Here are the things I'm looking forward to when I come back.
1. My friends. Maddy & Nat most of all. I can't wait to see each and every one of them.
2. English. I can't wait to speak English wherever I go and not have to think about the grammar before I speak.
3. My family. Seeing them again is going to be awesome.
4. School in English. The dream I've been having most often is that of speaking English at school.
5. The weather. Man is it cold here! But Melbourne weather, although unpredictable, isn't this cold.
6. The movies. I used to go to the movies all the time, but here I haven't. I can't wait to go again!!
7. Shopping. I love shopping with my friends, and somehow it's different here. So I can't wait for that.
8. Blockbuster. Here we have to travel all the way to Luzern, but in Aussieland Blockbuster's just up the road.
9. Footy. Man I can't wait for the footy. It's going to be so awesomely awesome.
10. Tennis. I'm looking forward to getting back into my tennis. I need to get a bit fit. :D
